Tuition

Practice chanter and bagpipe tuition can be delivered on a one to one (individual) and group basis and are held at a place convenient to the pupil(s).

Individual Lessons

As with all our services, we take a personal, bespoke approach to tuition. Our lessons are flexible and can be 20, 30 or 60 minutes.  During lessons we take care to get to know the pupil, their previous experience and ability (if any) and we set achievable targets for progress.  Teaching is pupil focused and developed for the individual taking into account age, ability, understanding and preferences.

 
Teaching a small group of pupils

Group Lessons

It is possible to hire Sinclair Piping Services to teach a small group at a one off event or on a regular, ongoing basis. Tuition in this manner can be based on playing, music theory, bagpipe maintenance and general pipe band studies. A lesson plan, unique to your requirements will be produced prior to the event and any training materials* included in the price. Certificates of attendance can also be provided. * Excluding musical instruments. These can be provided at an additional cost.

Bagpipe Repair and Maintenance - coming soon

We are just putting the finishing touches to our workshop at the moment and will soon be in a position to offer a full maintenance, repairs and refurbishment services. Our experienced bagpipe maker will work his magic to get those pipes working again.

In the meantime there are still some maintenance jobs we can carry out, if you have a set of pipes that need some tender loving care contacts us with your requirements and we'll let you know if its something we can undertake at the moment.
